If a task goes wrong, the money stays in escrow while the problem is sorted out.
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Poster cancels before the Solver starts | Full refund to the Poster |
| Solver cancels at any time | Full refund to the Poster; repeated cancellations count against the Solver's profile |
| Poster cancels after work has started | Refund minus a fair amount for work done, agreed between both sides or decided by us |
| Solver does not show up | Full refund to the Poster |
| Work is incomplete or not as described | Dispute: full or partial refund, decided on evidence |
| Poster confirms the task | Payment released; no refund through the platform |
3.1 Raising a dispute. Either side can open a dispute in the app before funds are released, and within 3 days after the task time if the Poster did not confirm. Escrow stays frozen while a dispute is open.
3.2 Evidence. Each side can submit photos, chat messages inside Bantu Now and a short written account. Because all chat stays on the platform, it is the main evidence.
3.3 Our decision. Our team reviews within 3 business days and may release the money to the Solver, refund the Poster, or split it. Our decision on the escrow money is final within the platform. It does not stop either side from using their legal rights.
3.4 Refund timing. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 2 business days, depending on the bank or card issuer.
3.5 Abuse. We may suspend users who file false disputes, or who repeatedly cancel or fail to confirm completed work.
